Our Purpose

NearFriend was created to offer peers and community members an authentic, safe, and privacy-respecting way to meet new friends and chat. Modern social platforms often force you to display your full personal identity, phone numbers, and social footprints just to have a conversation. NearFriend removes that pressure, allowing spontaneous, friendly, and respectful chats without exposing personal data.

No phone numbers, email addresses, or social media logins required. Your profile stays completely anonymous and private.

Camp-Based Matching

Match with members in your own camp, or explore friendly connections across other camps.

Secret Reveal Card

Your real identity stays secret until both participants mutually choose to exchange Reveal Cards with your Real Name and voluntary social media links (FB/IG).

In NearFriend, Camps allow you to connect with peers from your area or circle. You can chat exclusively with people in the same camp, or explore connections across all camps:

Safety & Community Standards

NearFriend strictly adheres to Philippine community safety laws including the Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313), Cybercrime Prevention Act (RA 10175), and Data Privacy Act (RA 10173). Bullying, vulgarity, extortion, and non-consensual media sharing are strictly prohibited and result in permanent platform bans.
